"Road Station Tsugaru-Shirakami-Beech Nishimeya" was registered as the 28th "Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Station)" in Aomori Prefecture in November 2017.
The facility features various shops such as a "Farmers' Market," "Restaurant," "Café," "Sweet Shop," and "Outdoor Gear Store."
They host a wide range of events and offer limited edition products in collaboration with the outdoor manufacturer "mont-bell" and Nishimeya Village.

BUNACO is a wooden product born from the abundant beech resources of Aomori Prefecture. The BUNACO Nishimeya Factory opened in April 2017, after renovating the old Nishimeya Elementary School. Visitors can observe the production process by skilled craftsmen and there is also a mini-shop where BUNACO products can be purchased.

The interior is surrounded by BUNACO products, and a distinctive table shaped like Aomori Prefecture is placed in the center.
